I dunno, SSDs are quite expensive, so they should offer a lot to be worth it:) According to these guys they are pretty good, in the end of the clip it shows actual stats of testing, with no read/write errors at all.
Kombat, it only uses two 1000Watt supplies, which is in total like using a powerfull kettle or an iron for that same time:) And them being solid state, i.e. like a memory stick with no moving parts or a motor, they should be quite effective in terms of power consumption
