[HL2DM] About UT Sounds

I am sure you all noticed that but anyone talks about it. There are no sunds for:

-Ludicrous kill
-Humiliation by crowbar

Maybe the first one is not very important because its difficult to reach (about 25 kills or so) but it would be cool to hear HUMILIATION when you killed with crowbar (not only with stunstick)

- first it's just solved, a file lost in past ...
- i just added a new trigger for crowbar (but i'm not sure it works)

For both these change, perhaps need a restart of all servers... I will do later.

sry a bit off topic

but i was playing on a server and the last 10 seconds of the round were a countdown voice and its good gets ur heart raceing if it is a close game

.
is this possible on our server or is it or just on some maps?

The countdown is a UT sound too, but i only know "20", "10", "5" and "2 min remaining"

it's possible, and we have had a no sound counter in past, we tried also a sound at the beginning too.. But in my opinion it's boring to wait before playing...

what 1 mp3 or 1 sound will stop new players joining because they have to download it

no i dont think so

thats funny because the servers that i have been in are very busy .
i dont think 1 mp3 countdown would stop u going into a server would it??
not me and my wifi is sh*t most people have broadband and downloading takes seconds .
so i dont understand that 1 mp3 would stop new players comeing to server

but ok no countdown then.

I don't think sounds can increase popularity.

popularity of servers due to :
- number of players on it (yes !)
- location
- maps

and personaly, when i play on another servers and too much sounds, l leave before joining.

I know one, there are about 40 sounds for in combat, and over 100 songs you can play with a command like "@song87" or something like this. So, after you have waited a half an hour to join, you come in and you see al player playing songs all the time
