Pure mode is a good thing or no? what do you think about it? I think that if you change crosshair it stays no? It's some times that i haven't gone into it. It's especially it i wanna know.

I have tried pure mode (pure mode 2) and sv_allow_command_wait (with some bad files : script and colored skins for try)

good points :
-> scripts became useless
-> skins become black
-> all custom files come back to default files

bad points :
-> all custom files come back to default (!)
no quake sound, no custom textures, no crosshair, no custom background ...

I have removed that shit for the moment (i have kept the command to prevent wait command 8)). I will try later pure mode level 1 with the whitelist files... (the file allows some custom settings as sound for example ...)
For the moment i prefer wait before put that in all servers...

is nice, and to add other files to whitelist, i've to know where to put a cheat script . I'll seek on google lol xD

hm, i played with my custom crosshair on public2 with you, remember?or wasnt it "pure 2" then? because it didnt change..

The servers are fine the way they are

I think i will change E=mc² servers to pure mode 1 next week end.

so what about the crosshair? i dont want to lose it:)..

cross hair are allowed in pure mode 1 ... and if not ... i will allow it.

I have try, but doesn't suceed in understanding difference between pure mode 1 & 2 .. Can u help me Cynyx , in an english more easy .

textures can be transparent... i have never tried that... but i have read that exist...useless in killbox ... but i think a real hack in lockdown...

pure 2 : u don't allow any modified files... if u have the game tried to force u to use normal file ... or kick you

pure 1 : same ... but admin of a server allow things in can be allowed in a white list file.

Since some days :
Pure server mode 1 for all servers (except server 3 because not updated to the last server version) :

-> Materials (in order to prevent wallhack from transparent textures)
-> models from steam (in order to prevent brightness red/blue skins and i suppose some colored aimbot)
-> Custom menu and crosshair allowed,
-> Quake sounds allowed.

Chnaging named with bind a lot in a little bit of time allowed? .
I was kicked and banned from my server xD.
Perhaps VAC xD
