Pistol, be polite... Rublis was not offensive towards you, he has got a point... you kinda dont.
Points are, indeed, merely an addon to the original game, where only the frags and deaths were monitored. They can, of course, be a calculated by purely the cumulative sum of your kills and deaths, which is what you would like it to be. But it can also be a function of activity, which is what the situation is on our servers. If you are THAT DESPERATE for pretty numbers, you might as well play everyday, which will stop you losing the points. If you want a real measure of your skillz - look at your kpds against people you think are good, look at your hit percentages with your main weapons, look at your kills per minute statistics. All these values are monitored, but not included in the score and are not affected by it. If people want to know how good you are, they should really look at those values, otherwise you shouldnt really care about their opinion.
Pinball, on the other hand, has a cumulative scoring system which will get you loads of points in no time, with no relation to your skills whatsoever...

just check ur KPD and ull see ur getting better and be polite to Rublis he is a freind of the MAXIMUS and E=mc2 like urself
just keep ur chin up mate and the skills will come to help ur KPD .

I noticed an interesting thing, if you are sneaky - you have a better kpd, coz you die less, but you dont kill that many people a minute. If you go into the battle - you die a lot, but you take more people with you:) It doesnt compensate for the loss of kpd in my case, but i kill more... So, id say that sneaky gameplay theoretically is good for teamfights, because if u die - u give points to the opposite team, and forward battle is for classical deathmatch, where u can allow to give points away to other people, coz there is so many of them to kill anyway:) But just one thing, for sneaky teamfights you need large teams, so u have somewhere to hide, otherwise its not that useful:)
