I think i have finally solved my prob today, i don't know how because i have do that :
- I have put my modem far away from a speaker
- I have put my modem with some feet (to prevent overheat 45°C to 34°C)
- I have cleaned up my phone plug
- I have clean up the bloc where all telecom cables are, outdoor my flat. I have forced a little the lock ^^. sorry neightbors ^^
- I have blocked my fps to 75
- new steam update
- I go to toilet before play
=> no deconnection since 2 hours now (every 30 minutes last days...)
=> internet go faster
=> finally, my game register again hitboxes !
Need some time to see if really solved...

but still sucky ping.. :P

I have a 4mb/s connection! No lags, even when my brother plays at the same time! The lags I usually get are coming from my computer not powerful enough!

After near 2 months of crap performances, I'm bored. I can't play more hl2dm while i have not a smooth game.
I'm off for an undetermined duration.

well my connection i have traced problems to me wireless distance from router.......... sometimes its smooth sometimes very bad with players warping about the screen......
when others in my house are watching TV it seems to play up more, and when people go to open the door and walk upstairs its starts going choppy game play.....
also everytime a quake sound comes on.... not so much with say sounds unless people spam them... my game freezes up for a split second... very annoying if your in the middle of a dual with 357's as when i unfreeze im normally dead.......
i dont have the option to run a wire from router to computer as its the other side of the house.....
but you just gotta deal with it :P

Going from 512 to a 2mb connection you wont notice a difference in ping, but going over 2mb ---- to 8mb theres a good chance your ping times will go higher instead of lower..... GOOGLE.com for "interleaving"
2mb connection is the best speed for gaming....

unfortunately, 2MB speed in cyprus is the same price as the 20MB in whichever country has it.. :?

Damn it ! i've bad fps drop in private server and others mods like dmpro and ctf. ( i think in pub1 et pub4 too) ....im always at more than 200 fps normally, and after 5 mn of play, booom 20 fps for 2/5mn.... I've no problem in public 2 and others non emc2 servers (not sure for all)....
Dunno wtf is hapenning ! Do you have set the check files stuff in pure_servers ?
Don't tell me my GPU is dead m8 !!! or i'll cry

2 GB corsair ddr2

HDD 80 sata2 + hdd 120 ide
And ALL my drivers with last update (forceware,nforce,directx,windows)

i have changed some settings in all E=mc² servers ... so let's try this evening... I will back to old settings on private server in order to try if that shit is linked to server configuration. Anyway ... not normal with other source mod... In past, i got the same prob... this game is shit.
try to decrease rate settings with menu of steam. try a lower connection just in order to check if not linked to your poor performances...

im on a friend4s baaaad laptop at this moment, i will be offline for a lil' moment, the time to buy a new CPU..... thats sucks, thats drivin me mad
its a long story cause im a big noob ive bought new GPU and new motherboard for NOTHING (no, in fact for 360 euros argggg), and now ive no more money for new cpu..
ive to make money quick or ill become nuts;;;(more than usual)

Humm, since my back i have a lot of lags and i see the choke is near 50
60... and the latency near 75 ms particularly on the server 2.
It is same for you guys or not?
I have lost 20 places on the emc2 HL statsX ! And i'm killed by noobs...
it make me really nervous

Is it the same provider as before? Do you normally should have a better connection than before? Or maybe it is your comp getting old. Since I changed mine I don't get lags anymore. Do you have same problems on other servers?

try decrease cmdrate settings or increase rate settings.
