Description:
This map is a big killbox perfect for server 2. The map is quite simple in order to keep a gameplay like our dear killbox_finals and killbox_kbh. There are many weapons and few physics. No spinning blade . In the middle there is a ball generators that give 2 balls every 30 seconds.
I tried to keep the same textures as killbox_final but in the end I changed them because playing maps with the same colors everytime is boring.
I hope you will enjoy this new playground!! Let's try it.
V2 is ready! I added a same platform above the ballgenerator. I also added a teleport and one jump. The "=" platform is slightly lower than before. I remove light effects on health and armor chargers because it caused the lags problems (sorry about that if you liked them).
There are 4 more spawn points and 4 more weapons (ar2, 357, crossbow and shotgun). I kept the same number for each weapons.
I can send the vmf file to someone if you want make the map better and faster than me! ;) Just ask me!

I like textures and design, nice brushwork, you tryed to do something new

I dunno if ladders with HUGE size are really usefull for gameplay ... but can be keept for decorating the map.anti fougere wrote: - do I remove the ladders?

- all parts can be joined fast (mean in 15 seconds maxi u can be at the opposite of the map)
- many points can be joined with more than 2 or 3 ways.
- weapon, hp and/or armor can be joined fast when u spawn.

The whole map is a piece of shit :
- I remove the skybox ==> less laggy but stil some probs
- I remove the lights ==> less laggy but stil some probs
- I remove round corners ==> less laggy but stil some probs
- I remove everything at the same time ==> no lag but stupid map^^
I donit understand what's happening with this map! it's a so simple map, map like dm_prison_emc2 or even dm_killarena_emc2 are 10 times more complexe and playable.
I can't work on it before Friday but I don't forget it It's on my list of jobs I have to do !

Do you used the hollow tool to build your box? I have noticed that its a bad tool..
If you build a box with this tool and another manualy, fps are really different, i mean manualy
building is better (with 6 simple blocks)

NEVER use carve!!
Make hollow is good using on a cube for example (to make a skybox or whatever). But if you have practice, you are faster dragging brushes than using hollow
