hello,

I have to get back on my old computer! config :p4 2.4ghz, 768Mb ddr,gforce 5700le 256mb ddr

game is still laggy in 640*480 and low details. Is there any other option to disable for performances?

Do a website with only a google advert.
We'll clik on it until you can buy a 7600gt.

Anti, I ve got a Geforce 5750 128Mb, if you want it:).. I played on it without lags on relatively nice settings.. its a PCI-Express card, not a VGA, so it will work much faster than your 5700le... but... erm.. you are in belgium:)

and my motherboard use AGP cards

. Anyway I have a good computer but not at home anymore because shoolyear started and I don't study at home but I don't want to buy another one only for weekdends. I would like to be able to run hl2 on this comp.

because I spoke with him about the comp I use now.

Anyway no question about buying gpu,power source or comp! Are there any in-game settings I can disable for better performaces. I'm sure there are some possiblities

Ok:).. Im sure there is a "tetris mode" option in HL2Dm, when all of the graphics converts into tetris squares:)).. Sorry to make jokes about it, Anti, but I just cant resist:)

cl_smooth 0 can help you to gain some fps

you can bios flash that card to a 5750 ultra and overclock it more, flashing it also helps with cooling if i remember right as i used to have one.

overclock cpu as well, and google for the best drivers for that card, newer ones are not going to be the best i thinks

some options perhaps causes a DETOX violation too ...take care.

you can try them to see if they helps, if detox dont like them just remove them and you will get back in game, wont hurt trying them.. :P

in fact DETOX ban you when very strong "cheat" settings...
