hmmmm...
i haven't seen this update. List of features sounds good... even if i'm not sure because valve can perhaps break other parts of the game.

For the moment, I can try this update only on server 4.
For other servers, they will be automaticaly updated when update will not beta.

i think i hate more lags than i like HL2DM.
too frustating in my view.

my mouse movement are too jerky, i miss at least 80% of my shoots.
can't catch object. can't see players changing weapon.
sometimes i shoot with action 1 or action 2 and nothing happen.
i can be killed when i'm behind wall in my view ...

some players think i imagine all that shit (KIO or korn for example) : and i don't care.
just my connection has huge loss and i can't do nothing, even changing internet provider... because loss are from DSLAM and not from my home. An analys software reports 90% packets lost. In past, i had not this prob and i was better. I'm bored... and i think i will less active now.

Keep playing, the other day i was getting killed when i thought i was out from peoples view, then today i was kiling people who were at least on my screen off target.....

Change of ISP should help as i have very much differnet routing to london from nilrdam than i did on my old ISP, and my old ISP sent me through a proxy, where loss was at a max!

Although recently i have found the game highly accurate on UK server and even more accurate on USA servers where my ping is 150+ apart from servers that set rates for you then im not accurate but only have found a few of those.

What loss and choke is net graph showing on a 16/16 server?

I'm happy to see i'm not alone... i thought other players don't think i said the truth..
And i don't know if i change my internet provider it will be better..
I have changed my point of view for this game and my gameplay: now i play less than before and i didn't aim to be skilled, it's that what it make me nervous..

That's happen to me everytime ...
I have decent hardware and a very low ping (0 in netgraph on french servers, 5 in score tab)... and lag compensation helps players with higher ping or low hardware. why not ... but frustating me a lot.
U SLAAAAAAGZ wrote: Change of ISP should help as i have very much differnet routing to london from nilrdam than i did on my old ISP, and my old ISP sent me through a proxy, where loss was at a max!
Perhaps change ISP can do something because the DSLAM router causes my loss is linked to my ISP. But close my ISP account cost money... because i have no reason to close it (low ping, good bandwidht). (near 1mb in upload, and 14 mb in download) ... Just impossible to play with that connection due to huge packet loss...
U SLAAAAAAGZ wrote: What loss and choke is net graph showing on a 16/16 server?
permanent loss 1, with a lot of players 4-5. I have no choke problem.
Roundup wrote: I'm happy to see i'm not alone... i thought other players don't think i said the truth..
I have had allways think u have right. since long months i have same prob... but it's worst and worst ... begin to be too frustating for me.

I think i will play same way. few times ... perhaps one day it will be better even if i'm not sure because prob is from the beginning of the post in my point of view.
It's not a question of skill ... yesterday kpd 9 ... today kpd near 4 ... just too frustating for me ...

I've never really suffered from loss, when i get any i reboot my router and it all seems ok again, but obviously you've tried that.

I would assume that your ISP if they are the cause of the loss should either let you out from your contract early or fix this ASAP as you're a paying customer.

keep sending them trace routes so they can see where the error is, drink lots phone them, be very abusive, and im sure they will let you out the contract early :P

in fact, i think my ISP never reboots their own routers as i do for mine at least one time by day... and certainly this is the main prob. I live in a huge concentration of people... and internet routers seems to be at their limits now.
The main problem is in contrat with my ISP : no rule about packets loss ...
I read internet surfing is impossible with packet loss at 10% ... but it's not my case. Just enough packets loss to be annoyed, not enough to ask provider to check something (no ping and no bandwidht issue ... 1% packet loss according a simple ping batch on a website)... just damn shit...

I would not argue with ISP about packet loss just state to them that unless you can play the game without any problems, they are not fulfilling there service to you.

Thus you would like your MAC code as the service is unusable and unsatisfactory for the way you wish to use it, due to it being there fault you wish to cancel your contract with any outstanding money owed being absorbed by them and not you.

The hopefully you can find a new ISP and play wihtout lag and smile :)
