Razer Copperhead is special : i advice u to try it before buy. Personnaly i can't play with that mouse.

i don't know Cyber Snipa.

I prefer MX518 than G5.

I have had a Mx1000 before too, keep it only 3 months lol.

I use a Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 with 1000 dpi. I personally find a compact mouse with a short back more comfortable, as I prefer to rest my palm on the mousemat while using it. I have tried Razer mice and while I like their symetrical low key design, I have trouble with their long backs. I find I need a cushioned gel mousemat to bring my wrist in line for prelonged play with those types of mice. It costs about 15 euros.

I have a new Mouse Laser Logitech v400, and last she does not work to me well. It works to me well in short whiles, it jumps and one changes of position. And it is difficult sometimes to shoot to me well. I look in a forum that is common that this happens, that me did not say it when paying 48 €! :? They say that it can be by the base. The dark colors and the wood do not go to the laser ...... grr well to him. Not, but sometimes during awhile it works well….I must prove mouse upon water… heheh

Driver on
Setpoint 3.1.116

Accelerate mouse : middle
Speed of mouse : middle
detect game mode : on
Accelerate speed : Set point implementation
checked : keep mouse speed in application, keep buttons setting left/right, keep buttons affectation

advanced game option : detected Direct 3D and open gl game.

(all settings are free translation of french menu items sorry if not exactly same)

sensivity in game 9.0

Thank you, Cynyx.. Yeah, the translation is fine.. one question: Why is the Set Point Implementation better than the Windows one?.. and I have an older version of it: 2.30... works fine, anyway...

Mouse settings depend of user choice. I don't think my settings are the best but i like them.
Mouse sensivity in game is fine for me but i advice you to test different settings in order to find YOUR settings. Many good players play with a low sensivity in game (3.0).

Yeah, I know, but I like higher sensitivity... Why I asked about the difference between OS implementation and SetPoint implementation is that it is not so sensitive on SetPoint, compared to OS implementation... I tried your settings.. seems fine, but Ill keep adjusting to fit my style:)).. on my old mouse the sense was 10.1 and it was 400 DPI, so for 1600 DPI it should be around 2.5.. hmmm... Ill try it today, when Im home...

Back to the mouse subject [after loong time]

In maximum 2 weeks im getting the new mouse and keyboard.. BUT i havent made my mind up yet..

Now im between:

Logitech G5 and

Razer Copperhead [[thought of Habu also but its out of stock everywhere]

I have to find a way to try Razer on my head because im used to logitech, and i changed mind on keyboard [wanna buy Razer Tarantula] so i want the mouse to be the same brand.

So ill try to go tomorrow to a shop i was yesterday and had some razer

And what mouse i choose influences the keyboard i get:

Razer Copperhead + Razer Tarantula

or

Logitech G5 [the new one, blue] + Logitech G15

Btw my new sensitivity ingame now is 9.3 [i had it 14 but i prefer 9.3]

Moreover, im in need of a new mousepad [good one]. My old one is quite small [very small i can say], uncomfortable [has gel thing but its huge] and gets dirty easily.

Im between:

Razer ExactMat [gel thing is extra, not included]

Thermaltake Gamma Pad [was at the store i went] http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Acce ... /a2256.asp

SteelPad S&S http://www.steelseries.com/int/products/surfaces/ss

also thought about SteelPad SX but its at the price of an MX518 lol
