STEAM holiday sale

Post by Cynyx »

I dunno if u have seen it but it's the STEAM holiday sale : -10 to -75% in the store (till 2nd january 2009).

http://store.steampowered.com/holidaysale

I have just bought some games ...

Code: Select all

Audiosurf ------------------ 4.99€ ( 9.99€)
Portal ------------------ 3.74€ (14.99€)
Left4Dead ------------------ 33.74€ (44.99€)
Team Fortress 2 ------------------ 9.90€ (19.99€)
**************************************************
Total ------------------ 52.37€ (89.96€)
I saved 37.59 €(or i lost 52.37€ i dunno :P).
Also, it's bad that currency in STEAM is now Euro ... why not ... but for STEAM it seems 1$ = 1€ ...

Yeah, i know, i have HL1 with the pack... I wouldnt say amazing, but better than the original:) I have played all but Blueshift before:)
I have just noticed what cynyx is talking about. Those assholes are now "transferring" their dollar prices into your local currency, which means they replace the dollar sign with another currency sign like euro or pound... What used to be a dollar before is a quid now. What the fuck? One pound is about two dollars, reeetards. Might wanna try using an american proxy server to shop:) so u get the dollar prices, but pay with your normal bank account.
