Description :

For this map I tried to push the realism but not too much for keep reasonable fps.

The game takes place outdoors on the theme of lost ancient ruins in the mountains.
There are three teleporters and a push trigger that sent the player in the air ..

Note :

included a 3D skybox.
Teleporters are on for nades, orbs, physics and players of course.

This first version of this map seems to promiss a nice map.

++
Graphics are nice AND fps good !
spawn points are ok.
not a killbox, not a classical map.

--
gameplay really need to be tested : few physics, a lot of place for campers, teleport and columns need to be more exploited. Too bad some jumps are not possible from columns to other columns.

some graphics bug in my view, and u can be out of the map :

Before release a v2 : it will be good if members suggest ideas and comments.
That's why map is installed on private server.

Whoa Roundy good job with the map, man! I like the graphics a lot, and the tunnel system which I didnt even see at first is a great idea :)

oohh thanks guys, and for reporting bugs :), i didn't see most of them :rolleyes: :zombie:

I think that you Cynyx have tested in grav 400, have you?
I know that clip brushes are too small with that setting.. So 400 is better?

I tried 400 and 600.
I think more potential in 400 ...
Really the columns and teleports need to be exploited for the gameplay.
We need to think about a way to enlarge the map too.

i really like that grece touch

if i have some time i'll try the map this night (1:00 AM :zombie: )


BTW we have to find an other way to host the pictures, it takes about 10 min to look all what you have posted cynyx, imageshack is fucking slow :-P

And back to the map, roundy, you have to explain me how to use that 3D skybox :shy:

NICE map roundy textures are very nice i have spent sometime on the map and i like it keep up the good work mate cant wait for v2 :-P :metal:

After a test with some members, i think about the v2, tell me if you see something
other and if you are ok with that :) :

- I can enlarge the map behind the temple.
- i will fix bugs :zombie:
- Re building the 3D skybox.
- Possible jumps between columns.
- Removed some temple columns.

Possible added:

- Another trigger_push?
- More physics?
- Another building?

hey rundy i tried thonight and i am ver impressed mate, nice work :metal:

and about changes on the map... the water looks a bit crap :zombie: (at least you do it better than me) and maybe make it a little deeper under that house, in order to pass under the house without coruching, it would improve the gameplay :spy:


and then add all that has been said before and it will become a great map :cool2: :beer:

I was checking the map list on the forum and I found this one :p. I didn't remember about it and there are some other forgotten maps in fact^^. Is this one playable and on a server finally?

Not really mate, gameplay sux.. :D , and tried to enlarge the map but it become buggy.. :rolleyes:
