cannot access steam

i have a prob, i cannot run steam or any related applications it comes up with "this application has requested runtime libary to terminate in an unusuall way, please contact application team for further info" umm i cannot do that as steam wont run, any ideas

ok now, did a system restart, twice, seems ok now.................fingers x's
