Hi guys, who have BF2142?

I bought it yesterday, and it looks very funny and interesting.

I have seen one video about BF2142, it look like good...
I have BF2, it's the same game rules?
I need playing in another game before i'll get really bored with
HL² DM.
Now you are playing BF2142, what do you think about it Fede?

The gameplay is like in Bf2:commanders, squads, unlocks, but new "Titan" mode +assault lines in Northen Strike(i havent it yet ) are very interesting and funny. FuzzyBear also has Bf2142....i really enjoy this game

BF2142 takes enjoyable aspects of BF2 and presents absorbing, futuristic environments. Titan mode is really a drawn out quick play campaign that can last between 20-40 mins depending on skill levels and team balance across opposing sides. The maps vary and provide interesting challenges.

The purpose in Titan is destroy the opposing sides' Titan by taking control of missile silos to destroy the shield of the enemy Titan. Once the shields are down, you can enter their Titan and destroy their reactor and consequently their Titan. Points are awarded for various skills and unlock new weapons and equipment that will enhance your game.

Also the game can be played in various ways concurrently. You could play as:

1) a solo EU or PAC soldier
2) as a squad member (allowing for points multipliers and field upgrades)
3) as a squad leader (you follow orders of the Commander or issue commands to your squad members to take silos or defend etc)
4) or as Commander (using real-time intelligience, UAVs, Sat, airstrikes and your squads to coordinate assaults on the enemy)

This provides a huge diverse approach to the game, with players assuming a range of repsonsibilities and developing leadership skills.

Conquest mode is similar to BF2...

You are limited on the number of skill paths you can follow, namely: Recon, Assault, Engineer and Support - each provide sufficient diversity and the need for squad leaders to consider their teams' roles.

Northern Strike provides enhanced graphics, maps , new unlocks and game modes, as well as providing a more polished and less 'buggy' patch for the game.

I highly recommend it to all clan members who may be wanting to take a break from hl2. It really is an excellent investment and there are occasional glimpses of genius gameplay.

Oh yeah!!! Vehicles!!!! Tank, Choppers, Walkers, Jeeps etc etc - all fully interactive, either with single or team play.

I think its good idea.
Next my unlock will be squadleader`s beacon(after squadleader placed a beacon in any part of map, all squadmembers can respawn on it)
And so, who will be who?
I always play as assault or recon(i prefer fast rushing and going behind defensive lines of enemies team). Or i play as supporter in defending(unlimited ammo---->unlimited nades )
We need an engeenier, full time-supporter, recon-sniper(i can, but not so often) and second medic.

i think that i won't buy BF2142 because i prefer HL2DM and CSS
but now i don't play to css i prefer to see my girldfriend and play more to HL2DM
and play half life 2 deathmatch with her 'cause she doesn't like CSS and loves HL2DM
...and for me BF2142 is a nice game but i don't want to spend my money on this game
it's to expensive..

Ur girlfriend is ur mouse/keyboard, or u hand (never seen normal girls, playing pc games)

I see some of us want to move/create a team/play/try to BF2142.

For the moment, I don't want personaly to do that... why?
- I'm really not sure i can spend or investate time in a second game. If i change game, i leave HL2.
- I think I'm really not a teamplayer. TeamFortress, CS, BF1942, CSS : i have played some of team games, and each time i have been faster bored.

pack and what i seen?... No dvd! Just a code...THIEF!!!!!!

I have already read that : no dvd for Northern strike pack.
It's an extension and only a key to download it on EA website.

EA is worst than valve in order to make profit.

(but the price of the extension is very low... i have seen it at 9.50 euros.)

2)FuzzyBear9(LiteStorm) will be engineer(no need to me to blow enemy vechiles)...mines and antiarmor guns for him...also i saw that he is a good medic

For me it's just another game to taking fun. I played too much HL² and sometimes i'm bored but i love it and i'll never leave it!

Who wanna create E=mc2 team in BF2142?
I love this game more and more every day.
More people wants to kick me from game (for example: they have 2-2.2 scores per minute, i have 3.3-4 s.p.m )
I found a new way of playing this game today, so cmon, dont be so lazy, lets go to BF2142, lets go to victory

I like assault and recon as well. i prefer recon, im waiting to unlock the invisibility thing, i love it

I have a problem with BF2142 (Fede and Fuzzy know it, thx for the
support ) I can join a server and when i'm in, i have no mouse...
I send a mail to EA and the answer is we are not responsible so
make you own way.... I want to kill them all .
Somebody have a solution for me?
