I'm not sure it's possible (i don't know if there is a check by the server or not) but perhaps you can replace your and only your sounds.
sounds used by Emc² are here : \SteamApps\your_account\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\sound\quake\female

and if all really want to change sounds on E=mc² servers, why not ... but :
1 - all sounds must be changed, and they must have same spirit and not a "melting pot" of sounds.
2 - make our own sounds (and not a work ripping of someone else, or another clan ...)
3 - they must be better than the dear and beautifull female screams ...

I'm sure I've seen the "your file differs from the server's" message on some servers a few times and it wouldnt let me in

and a decent soundpack would be somewhat difficult to make imo, but we can try

he is right... i was listening music on my ipod and had that idea

I'm sure it's work for map files in order to not have a different map... but i'm really not sure sound files are checked (i don't see interrest about checking them, more of than u can refuse to download them when u join a server...).

ok forget it i thought it was a good idea
